Before people swarm me for "OMG, Intell!" here's a few guidelines:
- Intelligence Roleplay will not be "metagamed" or abused (That means no Intelligence Operative shall take a random bit of context that they don't know about and suddenly come to a conclusion or plot twist.)
- Intelligence Roleplay will be considered extremely serious and professionalism is sought for. (No free rides, no half-way jobs, etc. Remember, Intelligence is the gathering and distribution of information. We're not gods, and we sure as hell don't know everything.)
- Intelligence Roleplay will not be confused with the defunct Section 31. (We're spooks, sure... but we're not /all/ assassins, and we're not /all/ going to be the best.)
- Intelligence Roleplay will be monitored extensively by myself as well as the GQHQ Command staff, including Captains of all Fleet ships. (This way, we can correlate information amongst different plots and assist in cross-overs.)
I will make a formal post with all the SIA (Starfleet Intelligence Agency) mandates and rules in the near future. This is merely a barebones approach to what I think should be consistent of Intell RP. I suggest that anyone even remotely interested in Intell be very aware of these facts and assist in the contribution of the forming of our new wing.
I look forward to hearing from all prospective applicants.
((NOTE: Right now, I have the go-ahead to NPC crew the Galahad and intend to do so. Anyone interested in doing multi-chars or what not can feel free to talk to me and I'll work things out.))
